SEGRO used the occasion of Place West London to launch a new £5,000 Bursary competition designed to support a deserving community project in West London.
The fund, which is appropriate for a wide range of community projects, is open to applications from charitable organisations and other bodies directly serving their local communities in the London Boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hounslow, Hillingdon and Harrow.
Examples of community projects might include skills, development and training or youth unemployment initiatives through to community cohesion programmes. SEGRO say organisations active in West London are welcome to submit any community project, and that all proposals will be carefully considered.
The bursary will be awarded by competition and judged on the basis of the submissions entered. Application forms are available on request from SEGRO’s Neil Impiazzi, with a deadline of Tuesday, 4th December for completed submission.
Neil commented: “The SEGRO bursary has the potential to make a real difference to an organisation working with our communities in west London. There are a lot of very worthwhile initiatives currently underway, addressing a range of priority areas for west London and our communities, and I know that this additional funding, especially in the current economic climate, can help make a real difference to delivering valuable services”.
