SEGRO has donated a strip of land to the 14th Acton Scout Group.
The land, which was part of SEGRO’s Acton Park Estate, is valued at approximately £5,000, and is located adjacent to the Scouts centre. Eversheds, the international law firm advising SEGRO on this project, donated their services on this project.
Expressing his gratitude, Glenn Young, Scout Group Leader said: “We encourage youngsters to try new adventures, experience the outdoors and gain confidence in order to enable them to reach their full potential. This land will go a long way to providing more space for our outdoor activities and we are extremely grateful to SEGRO for their donation.”
Neil Impiazzi, SEGRO’s Partnerships Development Manager, added: “We are delighted to donate this land to the Scout Group and pleased they will be able to use it for their outdoor activities. This is another great example of SEGRO giving its support to local communities. We’re sure the Scouts will enjoy using it!”
