Schools to get sixth form block, Pub to be demolished

Two schools look set to have their application to build a new sixth form block approved, while a pub is set to be demolished to make way for housing.

The Sacred Heart Language College and Salvatorian College, both in Wealdstone High Street, want to build a new two-storey building.

Meanwhile, plans to demolish the Leaping Frog Pub in Harrow Weald and replace it with a nine-house development also look like going ahead.

LB Harrow Council Officers have recommended approval for both schemes ahead of next week's planning meeting, according to the Harrow Times.
