The new John Locke Academy, built on the former RAF Uxbridge site, has opened.
The John Locke Academy will ultimately provide 630 primary school places in addition to a 90 place nursery and sporting facilities. At the moment just three classes of children are using the new school.
It is on the former RAF base in Uxbridge, now know as St Andrew’s Park, Vinci St Modwen’s 110-acre development of 1,340 new homes, 45 acres of public space, leisure facilities including a new theatre, a museum, and 20,000 square metres of commercial space for shops and businesses.
