Salisbury Depot refused, and approved

barratt salisbury depotBarratt’s Southall scheme is part approved and part refused.

Barratt’s Salibury Depot scheme involved two linked sites in Southall, the former Featherstone Primary school site, and the Salisbury Depot site itself. It is the subject of two separate, but linked planning applications.

The application for the Featherstone Primary site has been approved, as reported earlier, but the plans for the Depot site have been refused. Since some of the section 106 commitments, and all of the affordable housing element, are on the Depot site, this has given the Primary School scheme some problems.

A Barratt spokesperson said they are “working closely with Council Officers to try to find a way of moving the scheme forward”.
