Ropemaker buy in Hammersmith

200 hammersmith roadRopemaker Properties, has bought 200 Hammersmith Road in London for £24.6m.

Ropemaker, the property holding company of BP Pension Fund, has bought the 67,000 sq ft building, developed by Helical Bar in 2003, from BlackRocks UK property fund. Tenants include Etihad Airways and Western Union.

Tim Hayne, head of property at BP Pension Fund, told Property Week: “We believe the fundamentals of the Hammersmith office market make it well positioned in the current challenging occupation market.”
