Riverbank wants to grow

The owners of Riverbank House have submitted plans to make the building taller.

The Burgess Mean Architects designed scheme involves the removal of the seventh floor of the main tower, and adding four floors to take it to a 10 storey building. This will produce ten new flats.

Meanwhile, a partĀ four storey, part ten storey extension at the south east part of the building and construction of extensions to lower podium of the building at the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor levels will provide 760 sqm of addtional office floorspace and stair and lift access to the upper floors.

The project also involves refurbishment of the facade of the building;
