Redrow Homes have had plans approved for a 1200 home development on the site of the Peel Centre, a former police training centre in Colindale.
This is the third phase of a scheme that will provide more than 4,000 new homes overall.
This phase involves blocks up to 26 storeys, with 35% of the homes affordable. It also includes 351sqm of flexible commercial space. Following approval by Barnet Council, the scheme will now be routinely referred to the Mayor of London.
