Rayners Lane Woolies gone to Iceland

The former Woolworth's store in Rayners Lane has been bought by Iceland.

The store in Imperial Drive is one of 40 Woolworths shops bought out by Iceland after the collapse of the brand in January this year.

Deloitte, the accountancy firm that tried to save Woolies, told the Harrow Observer that the Iceland purchase had gone through and that another 140 stores nationwide had either been bought out separately or had bids placed on them.
