R55 win Minavil consent

R55 have secured planning consent for their Minavil House development in Alperton.

The scheme is part of the regeneration of Alperton and, say R55, enhances the public realm which includes opening up public access to the canal. At 26 storeys high and providing 91% affordable housing, the development will contain 251 new homes.

It sits in the Alperton Housing Zone and will also provide a Lidl supermarket, affordable offices and a canal-side cafe on the lower levels.

Minavil House is the gateway site to the Alperton Regeneration area and is the last strategic site to come forward. The site sits opposite the Alperton Piccadilly Line Tube Station and backs onto the Grand Union Canal.
