Quintain Estates and Development has announced that Max James has joined the Company to support Adrian Wyatt on Wembley City.
James will take on day-to-day responsibility for delivering a number of key milestones for the project, say Quintain, including overseeing the delivery of the London Designer Outlet and the next phase of development on the North West lands.
He will also be seeking to secure additional third party investment and finance for the Company’s urban regeneration activities.
In addition, Max will be working with Quintain Fund Management to devise solutions for real estate lenders and borrowers to restructure and recapitalise property assets. This will provide Quintain with new sources of income through the creation of funds and joint ventures.
Before joining Quintain, he was Chief Executive of Lowndes Partners, a specialist real estate investment bank, which he founded in 2006. Prior to that, he was Global Head of Real Estate at HSBC Investment Bank and a director of Lazard.
Adrian Wyatt, Quintain’s Chief Executive, said: “Max brings broad experience from the real estate and property finance arenas which will provide further momentum in the delivery of our business plan. We believe Max’s strong track record and strong business relationships will be very beneficial as we work to deliver Wembley City and secure third party investment for our major schemes. He will also strengthen our ability to deliver innovative solutions to banks and borrowers though the deployment
of capital and asset management.”
