A2Dominion have submitted plans for a redevelopment of Queens Wharf, which could form part of the planned Arab Investments scheme for neighbouring Riverside Studios.
The plans would provide 81 flats and a cafe on the site next to Hammersmith Bridge and involve the demolition of the existin Queens Wharf building. The redevelopment would be part of a wider project which could include the redevelopment of neighbouring Riverside Studios, creating a larger arts centre with an extra cinema and performance space.
Riverside Studios artistic director William Burdett-Coutts told the Hammersmith Chronicle: “The aim is for the studios to become self-sufficient, to have more commercial-based work here so we can in turn put more back into the arts.”
Barton Willmore Partnership are handling planning for A2Dominion.
