QPR go for John Lewis again

qpr old oak dec 2013Queens Park Rangers have reportedly gone under offer again for the John Lewis Distribution Centre in Park Royal.

Estates Gazette reports that the club is offering £26.5m for the twelve acre site. In the short term, the site would be a training centre, but long term the plan would be to relocate Gar Giant there, so the existing auto retail site could become part of plans for a new QPR stadium in the Old Oak regeneration.

The sale of the site has been paused by an HS2 safeguarding order.
