Prologis are to start building their speculative development in Hayes.
The two units will provide an extra 190,000 sq ft of industrial space at Prologis Park West London, next to Stockley Park. Prolgis have consent for a further 275,000 sq ft of space on the site, enough in total to accommodate 650 jobs.
Construction work, led by Volkerfitzpatrick, is scheduled to start mid-January.
Prologis aim to achieve a BREEAM ‘very good’ rating for the buildings, as well as creating new public open space on the site, and improving the Grand Union canal towpath.
