The new site is large enough to absorb both the Brentford and Great Saling operations supporting, say Premier, much greater internal efficiencies which will result in improved services to customers, offering 60,000 sq ft of storage capacity in a stacked format. Premier Moves has taken the building on a 15 year lease.
Landlord SEGRO completed the construction of the speculative development last year which provides Premier Moves with a 24,878 sq ft high specification warehouse facility. Alongside this SEGRO also developed a 9,795 sq ft pre-let development for Warmup PLC.
The Tudor Gate development has achieved the BREEAM “Outstanding” and EPC “A” ratings, providing 20% of its energy from renewable sources including a photovoltaic system and air source heat pumps, together with rainwater harvesting and other energy saving initiatives including LED lighting.
Jerry Marks, Managing Director for Premier Moves said: “As well as enabling us to reduce internal distribution costs and deliver greater operational facilities, the property and its BREEAM rating reflects our commitment to environmental responsibility.”
Alan Holland, Business Unit Director for Greater London for SEGRO added: “This deal demonstrates the increased demand we are seeing for well-located and highly specified industrial space in West London. This latest deal with Premier Moves takes our recently completed development at Tudor Gate to fully let.”
