A ‘pop up’ town square is to be set up in Cricklewood.
The square has been designed and built by Studio Kieren Jones, and will use a series of “forgotten spaces”, like a patch of grass next to B&Q. It will move overnight on a cycle rickshaw from place to place.
It brings an accompanying programme of events, and is paid for by the Mayor of London’s Outer London Fund. It aims to show what Cricklewood could be like if it had a “physical focal point” for the community.
