Ealing Council is inviting entrepreneurs, community groups and charities to sell their wares in a new pop-up shop in West Ealing.
The pop-up shop at Welshore Community Hub, 99 Broadway in West Ealing, will open for three months from 2 December. Up to four emerging businesses will be able to use the space at any one time, after successfully applying for space in the shop for up to six weeks.
For £25 a week and a £100 refundable deposit, traders will get a 12 square metre section of the shop. Utility and maintenance costs are included but traders will need to furnish and decorate their space in the shop.
Councillor Julian Bell, leader of Ealing Council, said: “This is an excellent opportunity, particularly as we approach Christmas, for an up and coming business to get first hand experience of trading on a busy high street.”
The pop-up shop project is part of a work programme to regenerate Ealing’s high streets. The programme is funded by the government’s High Street Innovation and Riot Recovery Fund.
