Pop-down square for Wembley

A ‘pop-down’ square has won a competition organised by Brent Council to design a temporary building for a site in Wembley.

The competition, run with the Royal College of Arts, was to find a temporary structure to occupy a site on Quintain and Greater London Authority owned land near the Stadium.

‘Pop-Down Square’ was designed by students from the RCA, and will provide an amphitheatre, outdoor cinema and a multi-purpose public space for five years.
