Poly UK appoints Millbrook Park contractor

Chinese developer Poly UK has appointed Bennett Construction to build a 257-home phase at their Millbrook Park development in Mill Hill.
The works will involve the provision of 257 homes, including 17 two bed duplex apartments and 240 apartments ranging from 1-3 bedrooms in 2 blocks , each with a podium, ground floor commercial units, ground floor retail units plus undercroft parking and all associated external works.
This phase is at the South Eastern corner of the wider 2000 home Millbrook Park scheme, which was formerly the Inglis Barracks site and council waste depot near Mill Hill East station.
This phase, the “Plaza Collection” scheme, has a development value of £380m and marks Poly’s entrance into the UK market following success in China, Australia and America.
It forms a key part of the wider Millbrook Park transformation – a 2,000 home development on the site of the former Inglis Barracks. In total, Poly UK’s share of the site will comprise around 700 homes, a new landscaped plaza and 1,400sqm of associated commercial and retail space over four different phases.
Vinci St Modwen obtained the initial consent for the redevelopment in 2011 since when Linden Homes and Taylor Wimpey have acquired an built out plots.
