Pocket Living’s plans for 80 new homes on land to the south of Woodside Park underground station have been approved.
The plans will produce two blocks of five-storey flats and were revised following a refusal of earlier plans in 2019. The revisions aim to help the blocksĀ blend in better with the surrounding buildings, including locally-listed St Barnabas Church. Disabled parking spaces, a car club bay and money to fund permit parking were also added to mitigate the traffic impact.
The one-bedroom units will be 20 per cent cheaper than market flats in the surrounding area and aimed at people who live and work in Barnet.
Woodside Park is near North Finchley town centre.
