Pocket to buy Cricklewood site

Barnet Council is set to sell the land in front of B&Q on Cricklewood Lane to Pocket Living.

A council report recommends the sale of the site acquired from the Crown in 2004 as a solution to persistent flytipping and anti-social behaviour problems. Pocket would build 42 affordable flats on the site, with retail at ground level.

The homes would be for sale to Barnet residents only, and at 80 per cent of market value.
