Plans go in for Jubilee footbridge

jubilee footbridgePlans have been submitted for a privately funded river crossing for pedestrians and cyclists between Fulham and Battersea.

The plans have been put forward by One World Design, who say the bridge passes the Transport for London cost/benefit test with a ratio of 1:2. They also  say the £22m cost of delivery would be met by sponsorship.

The bridge would connect Imperial Wharf with Lombard Street in Battersea.
