The fourth Place West London, which will take place on October 23 at Olympia, is set to be bigger than all the previous renewals, as bookings continue to flow in.
The daytime conference, with speakers including minister for London transport Stephen Hammond, Daniel Moylan Boris Johnson’s aviation adviser, Lord Clive Soley of Future Heathrow, Sir Terry Farrell, and the leaders of Hammersmith & Fulham and Wandsworth, is tracking to be around 250 people from over 120 organisations. The dinner is just about sold out, although one or two tickets can still be had.
We’ll get discussions about Earls Court, Wembley, White City, Harrow View, Nine Elms and more. And we’ll hear about the role of education in economic development, the innovative ways big employers are helping build skills, and spend time talking about how transport could be improved, among many other things.
Overall, as ever, it’ll be a fabulous networker, and a stimulating and enjoyable set of discussions about the economic development & regeneration landscape in West London.
