Pinner public inquiry rules out development

The public inquiry into Village Homes plans for new homes in Pinner has ruled against the development.

In 2007, Village Homes first showed became interested in the site at Eastglade and Woodpeckers, off Moss Lane. The original plans were for ten flats on the site but this was modified on a number of occasions to a four house scheme, a three house scheme and finally to plans for two million pound homes, reports the Harrow Observer.

All applications were refused by Harrow Council's planning department, with some also failing at appeal. Village Homes then called for a public enquiry into the development which announced its verdict this week.
