The North London Waste Authority has said it will withdraw its plans for a waste disposal plant in Pinkham Way.
The NLWA says they still pan to use the site for sorting and transfer of recyclable material and waste, but that, subject to a successful planning application at the existing Edmonton site, there will be no residual waste treatment at Pinkham Way.
