First-time buyers have been bought or reserved almost 90 per cent of the first phase of 65 shared ownership apartments. The second phase of homes, launched last month, is also going well, with more than half the 26 apartments reserved or sold.
The Phoenix development is built on the former GlaxoSmithKline headquarters site, off Great West Road. It forms part of the Great West Quarter regeneration project where Barratt is building hundreds of new homes for private sale, as well as a new hotel, shops, offices, cafes and restaurants.
Tariq Qureshi, A2Dominions Director of Sales & Marketing, said: Sales have been strong at Phoenix, and this new affordable housing development is playing an important part in revitalising north Brentford.
A2Dominion New Homes has worked in partnership with the London Borough of Hounslow and contractor Barratt to build the affordable homes. Funding of £6.6 million was secured from the Homes & Communities Agency.
