Orion to show Shepherds Bush plans again

Orion Shepherds Bush – a Joint Venture between Orion Land and Development Securities – is to show its £150million plans for the redevelopment of Shepherds Bush Market again.

The consented plans will be shown between November 21-23.

Cllr Nicholas Botterill, Hammersmith & Fulham Council Leader, said: “Residents will be able to learn more about the detailed plans for the market and feed into the plans with their thoughts about the development of their area.

“With the Market celebrating its hundredth birthday next year, this is a great time to look to the future and see our borough looking its best and an inspiration to other locations.

“This £150m investment in Shepherds Bush will bring a wide range of benefits to the local area, rejuvenating the appearance of our very special Market, creating new homes, and new opportunities for start-up businesses.

“We are also hoping it will increase retail expenditure by more than £3million a year, help existing traders who will benefit from the increased footfall, and create numerous new jobs for our residents.”
