Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation have submitted their Local Plan – the area’s growth vision – for Government approval.
Since February 2016, OPDC have undertaken three rounds of public consultation which have generated over 11,000 comments now used to inform the development of the Local Plan.
The plan was submitted on October 4, 2018. The Planning Inspectorate will now conduct an independent examination on behalf of the Secretary of State for the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.
The independent examination is the final stage in the Local Plan process before it can be adopted as part of the legally binding development plan for the area.
