Olympia update

Yoo Capital are continuing to support the community and make progress on their regeneration of Olympia.
The National Hall at Olympia has been temporarily converted into a large food storage, production, and distribution facility to support vulnerable and isolated residents reliant on donations. The new Hammersmith and Fulham Foodbank service will now be delivering over 1000 parcels each week, increasing the organisation’s capacity by 400%.
Despite the lockdown, Yoo Capital are also progressing design and enabling works for the masterplan. Contractors Laing O’Rourke have been able to expedite the delivery of the energy centre during the lull in exhibitions. This will make the full programme of delivery easier when the major construction works start.

The letting picture remains positive. Andrew Thorpe, Managing Director of Yoo Capital , says: “Conversations with prospective tenants have been positive, showing a high level of confidence in the location and the project.”
