The Outer London Commission are visiting Ealing as part of their work preparing the ground for the net London Plan.
The OLC are canvassing outer London stakeholders for their views on a number of key issues facing outer London which will help to inform the full review of the London Plan when a new Mayor is elected next year.
London is experiencing huge population and employment growth, with projections of an additional 3 million people by 2050 with over 6.3 million jobs. How London accommodates this growth is fundamental to the preparation of the full review of
the London Plan
The Commission are looking at three key issues:
- Different options for where and how London’s will accommodate this huge population and employment growth
- London’s relationship with the wider South East region
- Whether there are distinct outer London dimensions to unlock the delivery of housing
- The Commission will be in Ealing on 8th July at Ealing Town Hall.
