Sir Bob Kerslake says North London is "ahead of the game" following publication of its Development and Investment Framwork (DIF).
The document, published by the North London Strategic Alliance (NLSA), supplies an update on a similar document published a year ago, and “provides the context for HCA work and investment” saidaccording to Sir Bob, who was speaking at the document’s launch.
“Growth decisions are easier when you have context. There’s potential to adapt the DIF model used by the NLSA for use in other areas”, he added. The document also received the Mayor of London’s support.
The DIF outlines the delivery of the Growth Area agenda in North London, showing the area’s commitment to delivering around a quarter of London’s projected housing growth. The previous document detailed the extent of the opportunities available to transform the sub-region and the shared political ambition to do so.
NLSA covers the London Boroughs of Barnet, Redbridge, Harringey, Hackney, Enfield and Waltham Forest.
