North End Road on the agenda

Hammersmith & Fulham Council is holding a public meeting to discuss improvements to North End Road.

The Policy and Accountability Committee (PAC) for Economic Regeneration, Housing and the Arts, will cover the topic at its next open meeting.

Cllr Ben Coleman, who chairs the PAC, said, “One of the new council’s priorities is protecting and improving our high streets to attract more customers and strengthen the local economy.

“In Fulham, North End Road is at the top of our list. It’s a great street but it has too many empty shops.

“We can’t improve things on our own and we don’t want to. We think everyone – residents, business owners, stallholders, landlords and the council – needs to decide the way forward as a community.”
