Brent Council has given its approval to a huge regeneration scheme focussed around the North Circular.
The Council Executive approved the scheme, which has been the subject of a consultation. The North Circular regeneration initiative plans to transform the area around the road through a series of schemes in areas like the Brentfield and St Raphael's estates. It aims to both mitigate the negative effects of the six lane highway – on air quality, and on dividing communities – while using its economic and connecting power.
