Norris said that West London is established and mature, with a skilled local population and excellent transport links to London and the rest of the world. But that, despite its maturity, it is full of scale opportunity for development in locations like Earl's Court, Hounslow, and Southall.
Further, the local authorities have a clear vision, but are flexible enough to work in partnership with developers to achieve their goals.
He went on to outline the oppotunities in the Boroughs, which can be seen by downloading a copy of the West London MIPIM 2009 Magazine. They include the North Circular Regeneration Initiative, the South Kilburn Estate regeneration, Ealing's five Crossrail stations, the 90 acre Southall Gasworks site, Harrow-on-theHill, Earl's Court, W12, Old Oak Common, Hounslow Town Centre, Brentford Football Club, and several locations in Park Royal.
