Ballymore have been showing their plans for Nine Elms, in Wandsworth.
The massive scheme is outside the West London sub-region, but would have an economic impact on Hammersmith & Fulham at least. The development is centered on a new US Embassy building in Battersea, and includes between 1,500 and 2,000 homes, substantial office space and retail including supermarkets, leisure and restaurants.
The plans were shown at a two-day public consultation last week. An outline planning application is expected this year, with the first phase of construction planned to complete in 2016.
