Harrow College has appointed a new principal and chief executive to oversee the development of its new campus.
Tony Medhurst, presently vice-prinicpal of the College of North West London (CNWL) will take over from Barbara Field, who has retired.
He will be in charge of the college as it builds a new campus in the centre of Harrow, combining the two existing sites in Harrow-on-the-Hill and Harrow Weald. Medhurst was at CNWL when they were building the Kilburn Centre (pictured), described as ‘absolutely excellent’ and ‘beautiful’ by the Mayor of London when he officially opened the building.
Kilburn Centre is packed with energy efficiency features – such as a green roof, advanced lighting controls, natural ventilation and external fins to reduce solar gain.
