Applications for full planning permission and an associated Conservation Area Consent have been submitted by Mount Anvil. The plans propose the demolition of the existing Queens Wharf and Riverside Studios buildings, and their replacement with a new performance centre for Riverside Studios as well as three TV and film studios and associated offices, a restaurant and cafe, a new river walkway connecting Chancellors Wharf to Hammersmith Bridge and 165 residential units in an eight storey building.
The development has been designed to achieve a Very Good BREEAM rating, and to meet with Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
A previous scheme by A2Dominion had been granted consent for 81 new homes on the Queens Wharf site alone and has been incorporated in this scheme.
