Next has started work on a new 38,000 sq ft superstore in Lombardy Retail Park.
The new store, which replaces two smaller stores in the town, should open on July 9. One of the stores being replaced is also on the Lombardy Retail Park, while the other is on Hayes Bridge Retail Park.
The new store will create 47 new jobs over and above those transferring from the other stores.
