Councillor David Ashton, the current deputy leader of Harrow Council, will take over as leader in May and has announced changes to the Cabinet, which, if approved at the annual meeting of the full council on Thursday, May 8, will change the faces around the table significantly.
Councillor Barry McLeod-Cullinane will take over responsibility for Housing, while Schools goes to Councillor Anjana Patel. Councillor Tony Ferrari will take a newly created role, for Major Contracts and Property, while it’s understood that Councillor Marilyn Ashton will keep her Planning, Development and Enterprise portfolio.
