New King Street plans on show

New plans for the regeneration of the west end of King Street are going on show.

The new plans for the site of the Hammersmith Town Hall extension include the creation of a new public square, opening up the historic northern façade of the Grade II listed old Town Hall, and building new homes and retail space.

The updated designs from King Street Developments – a joint venture between Helical Bar and Grainger – also include a new cinema and the creation of a £1million regeneration fund for Hammersmith. The revised plans will be shown at a public exhibition shortly.

Previous plans were refused by the Mayor of London.
