New Hoxton Hotel for Shepherds Bush

Plans have been approved for a new Hoxton Hotel on Shepherds Bush Green, next door to the existing Dorsett Hotel.

The plans, designed by EPR Architects for developer Ennismore, involve the demolition of Union and Threshold Houses, and the removal of the surface car park at the rear, and the construction of a new 8,480 sqm, 214 room hotel over 8 levels, with ground floor retail, hospitality with bar, restaurant and meeting rooms.

Plans were approved in 2018, but a local resident successfully argued that the daylight effects of the new building on her property and her neighbours’ properties on Pennard Road had been incorrectly assessed, and the consent was quashed. They resubmitted in early 2019, and have now been successful once more.

The new hotel faces Shepherd’s Bush common, sits in front of residential buildings, and neighbours the Dorsett Hotel – a Grade II listed pavilion building.
