New homes for SK

Brent Council has approved plans for a 52 home development in Chippenham Gardens, South Kilburn.

22 of the homes will be affordable, with 30 private units for sale.

The buildings housing the flats will vary in height, from four- to six- storeys and consist of 24 one-bedroom flats, 19 two-bedroom flats and 9 three-bedroom flats.

Landscaping work will create a greener area, there will be improved refuse provision and cycle paths. The popular public space in the Gardens will be further improved.

Cllr Roxanne Mashari, Lead Member for Regeneration and Growth at Brent Council said:
“This latest approval by Planning Committee for housing at Chippenham Gardens will enable further phases of this important regeneration work to move forward, bringing even more in-demand, high quality affordable housing to the area.”
