Construction is set to start in Summer 2015 on the New Covent Garden Market site.
Vinci St Modwen are leading on the construction work on the project which gained consent in 2014.
The scheme will be built in phases across a 10 year period and will deliver 550,000 sq ft of market facilities and funded by the sale of surplus land for residential development.
