Nick Monger-Godfrey has been unveiled as the new Chief Executive of Park Royal Partnership. Monger –Godfrey, is currently Head of Corporate Social Responsibility for John Lewis and Waitrose, where he directed the development of corporate strategy in environmental protection, ethical sourcing and trading, and community investment. He will commence his new role from May 2008.
He has extensive green credentials, including Non-Executive Directorships at the Thames Valley Renewable Energy Association and Sedex (Social Ethical Data Exchange), and is a member of the Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change, Chair of the IGD Committee on Climate Change, a Member of BSI Standards Committee on Carbon Measurement, and a Member of the Carbon Trust Steering Group on Carbon Reduction and Labelling. He seems well positioned to help PRP realise it’s goal of making Park Royal the greenest estate in Europe.
“In consultation with the Board, we have been looking for the ideal candidate to build upon the achievements of recent years, and implement a strategy to continue to champion and enhance Europe’s largest industrial estate”, said Alan Coates, PRP Chairman.
“Our priority was to find an influential and dynamic individual who understands the needs of both the private and public sectors in developing a collaborative approach to business growth and regeneration.
It is understood that Monger-Godfrey’s early priorities will include ensuring that the strategically located west-London industrial heartland benefits from the impact of the 2012 Olympics.
