New Alfa Laval plans go in

alfa lavalCarlton have submitted revised plans for a 200 new homes development on the Alfa Laval site in Brentford.

The site on the Great West Road, derelict for a decade, was the subject of a major application in 2009 for a mixed use development with two hotels, and office space as well as over 200 homes, which was approved.

The new plans still contain 206 homes and involve the retention and refurbishment of the Alfa Laval building itself for use as a 159-bedroom hotel, a further 151-bedroom hotel, 5,000sqm of office space, retail/community space, and public and private open space. They also now include a car showroom and service centre.
