Network Housing Group and Hill Group are to start work on a 441 home development in Alperton.
The consented plans for 243 Ealing Road will provide the mixed tenure homes, along with 13,300 square feet of commercial space.
Network will manage 54 shared ownership and 57 affordable rent properties, with the sale of 330 private residential properties being carried out jointly between Hill and Network.
Network acquired the site from Neptune, who has obtained the consent, in 2012. THe development has been helped by £3.2m from the Mayor of London. Work on site is expected to start very soon, with completion in 2014.
The scheme is part of Brent Council’s “Vision for Alperton“, which they hope will deliver 1,600 new homes, a primary school, health centre, retail and public space.
