Network Homes has acquired a site in Southall where it aims to build around 500 homes plus commercial space.
The proposed £200 million project will aim for a range of affordable homes for rent and shared ownership, as well as homes for outright market sale. Start on site is anticipated in spring 2018 with phased handovers of properties between 2020 and 2022.
This 0.66 hectare site at Merrick Road sits in the Southall Housing Zone close to the Southall Crossrail station.
Network say they hope their scheme “will play a crucial role in helping place make a new and vibrant residential and commercial area in the town”.
Vicky Savage, Executive Director of Development, said “Network Homes has an excellent reputation for producing the kind of landmark schemes which can help transform the life of a neighbourhood. We have won multiple awards for our major regeneration sites and we want to create an outstanding scheme at Merrick Road that will benefit the people of Southall for generations to come.”
A planning application is expected to be submitted in summer 2017.
