NCGM plans approved

The plans to redevelop New Covent Garden Market have been approved.

The market will be completely overhauled in a 25 hectare scheme which will also provide up to 2,491 new homes, shops, cafes, bars, commercial space and a 200-bed hotel on land no longer needed for the market.

It is the largest scheme in the in the Vauxhall Nine Elms Battersea Opportunity Area, and includes a section of the proposed Nine Elms ‘Linear Park’.
