More for Acton Gardens

Countryside and L&Q have been granted planning approval for the next phase of regeneration of the South Acton estate.
Acton Gardens Phase 8 has been approved by Ealing Council, and will 336 mixed-tenure homes for social rent, shared ownership and private sale.
Acton Gardens is a 52-acre redevelopment of the Ealing estate. The overall £800m scheme will produce a total of 3,463 homes, 50% of which will be affordable.
“We’re pleased to see the successful planning consent for phases 8.1 and 8.2 at Acton Gardens,” said , Daniel King, Countryside managing director of partnerships, West London and Thames Valley. “This is a key part of the Acton Gardens masterplan, which enables additional social infrastructure and connectivity throughout the development. We are eager to start work and look forward to working with the local community and our partners, Ealing Council and L&Q, to provide an additional 336 high-quality new homes across both phases.”
Darren Parker, L&Q director of project management and development, added: “Working with Countryside, our aim from the start of this project has been to work with the community to create an inclusive neighbourhood where people can afford to live. We’re proud that this phase will provide a mix of social rent, shared ownership, and private sale homes, for new and existing residents, alongside a new road, walking routes and landscaping improvements for people to use and enjoy.”
