Montreaux has submitted plans for a 2000 home development on the former Middlesex Business Centre site.
The plans, submitted by GL Hearn on behalf of the developer, would produce a mixed-use development on the 4.8ha site near to Southall station and inside the Southall Opportunity Area Framework (OAPF) area.
Montreaux completed on the purchase of the site in May 2018. The development would deliver up to 2,083 homes (including affordable housing), public realm and complimentary non-residential uses including c.10,000 sqm of flexible workspace, a hotel and retail and community floorspace. There are a number of tall buildings planned across the site with building heights ranging from 4 to 27 storeys in height.
GL Hearn also secured consent for a previous site owner in 2016. They say the latest development proposals seek to maximise the development potential of this large site in light of the arrival of the Elizabeth Line (Crossrail) in Southall in late 2019.
